Data Safety Principles

This page sets out the data-safety principles Sedvora asks institutions and authorized users to follow.

1. Appropriate visibility

Access should be limited to the learning information appropriate to each person's role, according to choices made by the institution.

2. Consistent academic records

Academic records should be handled consistently so authorized school staff can review past learning evidence responsibly.

3. School review before sharing

Institutions are responsible for completing their academic review before reports or progress views are shared.

4. Institution separation

Institution data should remain within the institution's authorized space. Broader comparisons should rely on high-level summaries unless authorized support or audit access is required.
